My dream for many years has been to work with the loved ones of individuals struggling with addiction because this is a population that is significantly underserved, and yet they have the greatest influence. I facilitated a support group for women who had loved ones who struggled with addiction for a year and a half. I have facilitated Community Reinforcement and Family Training Groups for the State of Colorado for over a year.

I have also provided support for individuals who struggle with addiction. I worked in a residential setting for male adolescents and provided counseling to individuals who experienced legal difficulties because of their substance use. I graduated from the University of South Dakota’s Addiction Counseling and Prevention Masters program in May of 2023. I have a Bachelors in English from Brigham Young University. I’ve been volunteering in the addiction recovery field for over ten years. I have five amazing children, ages 23 to 8, and one talented daughter-in-law.
