CRAFT is an evidence-based program that supports the family members and friends of people struggling with compulsive behaviors, like substance use disorders, gambling, or pornography. This behavior modification program helps accomplish the following goals:
Reduce substance use within the family.
Encourage the person struggling with compulsive behavior to engage in treatment. If they're already in treatment, encourage them to stay engaged in their treatment program.
Help family members enrich their own lives through learning self-care techniques. The program teaches skills such as problem solving, and communication.
