Research about A-CRA

  • School Setting

Researchers have found that providing A-CRA therapy in the school setting is more effective than treatment provided at typical treatment facilities, provides earlier intervention, and reduces treatment drop out rates. Students do not need outside transportation and will already be at the location at the time of their appointment.

  • Justice Involved Youth

Studies found that participation in A-CRA not only reduce substance use but also illegal activity and further justice involvement. Some participant solve a reduction in health and psychiatric problems.

  • Co-Occurring Disorders

The majority of adolescents who struggle with substance use also have co-occurring psychiatric disorders. Research supports the use of A-CRA to treat this population.
